Red Dirt Chronicles- Ludivine

Not only am I excited to visit Ludivine, but I think I might be obsessing a little too much.  I have a very addictive personality and when I find something that I get SUPER stoked about, I can't help but focus a great deal of my energy into that thing (i.e. TOMS internship... I'll tell that story at another time for those who don't know).

Obviously since this blog is about eating locally I'm always excited to hear about new places that have opened up, but Ludivine is something totally different.  Not only are they locally owned, but they will be using nothing but Oklahoma grown produce, dairy, meat, fish, etc.  This idea has my head in a spin! I love it!!! Remember how I said that I wanted to be that person that threw awesome parties where everything was from the farmer's market or my garden... It's like Ludivine is that in restaurant form!

They are opening this month... I don't even know when this month... maybe they're already open?? I searched and searched all over their FB page, but I can't find a date. Anyway, they are open from 5-10p Tuesday-Saturday-- Can you say, "Hello, Happy Hour!?"  They are in Mid-town (aka Danielle's FAVE part of OKC-even though I live in The Paseo) across from St. Anthony's. 805 N Hudson, OKC, 73102. From what I can tell on their webpage (ludivineokc.com) their price point is kinda high- I'll have to save up before I go- but I have a feeling that it will be worth every penny.
