So, I know I said yesterday I was going to blog about S&B's but there is something I feel like I should post instead.
I have noticed lately that while I may totally love someplace there are people out there who hate it for the same reasons I love it. Or vice-versa.
I love BTT for the fact that it's crowded and loud and you have to fight to eat the messy food. Others find this a big down fall. I hated Othello's in Norman but others would rather eat there than at ToTo's or Victoria's.
I feel like I generally give a fair chance at the ups and downs of a place, but when I really don't like someplace or really love someplace I tend to only look at those aspects of it. I guess I should try to be better at letting people know the ups and downs of places. So, from now on I will try to be more neutral in my reviews.
On a side note: I really thought that it would be Ed, Kelly, and Angelo in the TC final 3... I just didn't think that Kenny was all that great of a cook as most of his food just saw him through and was never really on top top. I guess I was fooled. So now I'm cheering for my fave-- Ed-- to be the next TOP CHEF!!

How FUN is that for your friend? And - I think the point of a blog is that you define your voice. Okay - so tell the goods and the bads, but def give us YOUR take in the summary. After all - it's your space! Love you!
ReplyDeleteKevin...not Kenny. Kenny went home a while ago. I am still Team Angelo though. I think he makes beautiful food and love how he describes food as "sexy." :)
