I-40 Pile Up

I did not get a picture of my lunch this afternoon from Big Truck Tacos, but I heart this picture from Tom Mangan (http://www.tommangan.net/) and it works because today I had Big Truck Tacos' I-40 Pile Up.

I love Big Truck for many reasons:
One is that even though you tend to have to wait in line- no matter what time of day you go- it never feels like you're waiting that long.  Their food is just so good that by the time you get to order you're not even worried about the wait you just had.
Two, they formed their following online and maintain their contact, not only on Twitter but also on FB.
Three, they are the closest thing (if not better) to the Kogi Truck in LA, right here in OKC- and you don't have to chase down their truck if you're craving, you can just (in my case anyway) hop on down to 23rd St and order some up.
Four, Five, and Six, I love that they use bison meat, I love that their chicken is flavored to perfection, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE their green salsa.

Today I took the bf to BTT for his first ever visit. From what I can tell he loved his burrito- especially the fact that he had to eat it with a fork!

There is a reason BTT won 4 Best of's. If you have yet to venture over to 530 Northwest 23rd Street, or even track down the Truck while it's out touring the city, DO IT. I promise you won't be disappointed.
